The beginning of September found us back on the road heading south to North Carolina.  Our first stop was Boonville to see friends Joe and Zulma.  Joe and Zulma are friends from our days in New Hampshire and have purchased a small farm in the area.

Our stop here has given me the opportunity to explore more miles along the Blue Ridge Parkway.  A couple highlights from my adventures have included Mabry Mill and the Linn Cove Viaduct.  These are two popular stops along the parkway and are also popular photography subjects.

By the time this trip is done, I believe I will have explored almost every mile of this beautiful parkway.  I think I could drive it every day. – Bill
